Thank U Treat Box

    I was finally able to get my pictures uploaded of these last few projects so your going to get a triple play today.  I was able to upload the tutorials on YouTube but I had some trouble with the pictures for some reason.

   On with the project, this box was made with the Bitty Box & Envelope die on the Big Shot.  I just punched a 1-3/4" circle and inserted a window sheet.  It is decorated with Play Date DSP.  

   

When I first got the Petal Card punch I wasn't sure how I was going to use it.  I really like how it scores and everything but I wasn't sure just how to use it.  I LOVE how it looks as an embellishment on this box.  The Cute by the Inch stamp set just compliments it perfectly.   When you don't know how to fit a sentiment on a project this punch is the answer.

Envelope Treat Bag

    As you can probably tell, I love the Love Letter DSP.  It looks good on anything and with the Artistic Etchings Stamp Set it seems everything I make with it comes together beautifully.  I will try to break away from it a little to give you some variety.  

   I made this bag with an envelope that I messed up on.  I didn't get the name in the center so I thought I would make one of these treat bags.  They are so easy to make, you score three sides and cut open one of the short sides and then open it up.  Fold in the sides and glue the bottom.

Love Letter Matchbox

  The Love Letter DSP is so much fun to play with especially with the Artistic Etchings stamp set that coordinates.  The images in this stamp set look so amazing together.  I especially like the key, it is so detailed.  

   I made a Video to show you how I made this project below.  It is always fun to make these matchboxes, it is one of my favorite things to make.

   I also made a coordinating candy that was made using the new candy wrapper die coming out in the new Holiday Mini on August 1st.  This mini is so amazing.  I especially love this die.  I have been playing with it all month.  All the score lines are made for you so it is so easy.  I am making a New Video to show you how to make this candy wrapper to post when the New Holiday Mini goes live on Wednesday.

Homemade Treat Box

    Hey everybody, sorry I didn't get this posted this last weekend.  I barely got the video downloaded.  My computer was having issues so I just posted the video on You Tube and waited until my computer cooperated to do the blog post.  Anyway, about the project. . .
   I made this box with half an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of Early Espresso card stock.  It is so simple to put together.  Along the long side you score at 3", 4-1/2", 7-1/2", 9".  Then, along the short side you score at 1-1/2".  You have to cut up some sides to make the bottom.  I have made a video to show you how to make it right below this post. 
   I used the Homemade stamp set which is  just this one stamp.  I love giving away things I make at home.  Things like brownies, banana bread, fudge, or cookies.  This stamp is perfect for it.  It has two coordinating punches that I used.   The 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch and the 1-3/4" Circle punch.  It is the perfect touch for any homemade goodies you want to pass on to someone. 
 I really like the new buttons that are in the new Idea Book & Catalog.  There are 72 in each container for 8.95.  It makes me use more because I have a ton of them.  Buttons add so much to any project, tie a little bow in the middle and it is the perfect finishing detail.

Owl Pillow Box

   I really like this new Owl punch, it is so cute and so many shapes are on it.  I used the little heart that punches out to make the bow.  You could use the Small Tag punch to add any little sentiment you wanted.  I just left it plain so I can grab it when I need a thank you or thinking of you treat.

   The DSP I used is from the Love Birds Simply Scrappin' Kit.  This kit has so many cute card stock stickers.  It also has coordinating chipboard that the stickers will fit perfectly.  I love that about Stampin' Up!.

   I made a video for you to see how I made this cute little box.  One tip is if you want to die cut something with score lines, the Premium Crease Pad is a MUST.  If you don't use it the score lines will sometimes cut, it is not ideal.  Anyway, enjoy.
